Joanna McNally's paintings have been described as "dancing right up to the edge of abstraction." Inspired by the beautiful chaos of nature, she creates impressionistic landscapes, vibrant florals, and expressive still life paintings. An award-winning artist, Joanna received first place from the Southern Appalachian Artist Guild in 2021 as well as Best of Show in 2023, and first place at the Art Center in Jacksonville, Florida. She enjoys teaching workshops for beginning artists and exhibits at River Gallery in Chattanooga, TN, Gilmer Fine Arts in Ellijay, GA, and in private collections across the country. Joanna lives with her husband in the Blue Ridge Mountains, where she continues to paint, travel, and study with artists nationwide.
